Safari on the Mac doesn’t give you much control over cookies and how they expire. To periodically delete cookies I had to write an AppleScript and trigger it daily in iCal. However starting in Mac OS X 10.5.6 there is a easier way: change the Library/Cookies directory to read-only. This has the effect of making all cookies essentially session-only.

Kiyoshi (glowing jellyfish) Kurosawa’s latest: Tokyo Sonata. It’s eerie how US trailers for foreign language movies avoid showing any dialog whatsoever. Presumably this is because subtitles would scare away potential viewers?
